Buildex® Metal TEKS® self-drilling screws have a hardened drill point that will drill and thread in structural steel and mild steel. These TEKS® points are designed in a manner much the same as high speed steel drill bits. This product comes as a pack of 25.

Crest fixing of Square Rib Roofing profiles (e.g. Trimdek”, Spandek”, Monoclad”, etc.) to metal in High Wind areas. THESE RECOMMENDATIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE CONSIDERED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ROOF SHEET MANUFACTURERS FIXING SPECIFICATIONS. Recommended Driver Speed – 2500 RPM. Maximum Drilling Capacity – 6.4mm Metal. Tool for Driving – 3/8″ Hex Socket.
