Buildex® TYPE 17 are self-drilling screws for fixing into timber and thin steel. The special end slot forms a thread cutting action into the timber, which eliminates timber expansion and minimises the splitting of timber. This product comes as a pack of 1000.

For fixing timber / thin metal to timber: Furniture, Gates, Pergolas and Fences. Recommended Driver Speed – 1500 RPM. Maximum Drilling Capacity – 0.6mm Thin Metal. Minimum Embedment – 23mm. Tool for Driving – 5/16″ Hex Socket.
